Melissa Mallory Harris is the Director of Professional Services at Vertex Systems, Inc.   Melissa joined Vertex Systems in 2011 with more than 25 years of Support Operations experience.  Melissa is responsible for the areas of Technical Support, Implementation, and Training for the organization.  

Melissa is a respected builder and leader of productive customer-focused teams and has significant experience creating and managing support operations infrastructure for software companies.  She has been in Support Operations for her entire career, managing various solutions in multiple vertical markets throughout the US and UK.  Other software expertise includes; Point of Sale, Labor Management, Predictive Modeling, Scheduling, Police and Fire, Ticketing, Electronic Funds Transfer, Church and Charitable Contributions, Online Enrollment, eCommerce, Health Club and Chain Retail Operations Management. 

Prior to joining Vertex Systems, Melissa was Sr. Vice President of Operations at QuanComm, Inc, a solutions provider in the electronic payments industry.  Melissa was responsible for all Support Operations, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Release Control and Development for eight years.  Melissa also gained significant knowledge of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) security regulations.  She created policy documents for the business and worked through several successful security audits.  Melissa also created policies for SSAE16 and completed successful audits.

Formerly, as Sr. Director of Support Operations for seven years at CheckFree Corporation, Melissa not only managed all of Support Operations, but also created and led Technical Sales Support, Quality Assurance, Release Control, Account Management, Product Management and Sales.
